The place to talk. "On topic"? "Off topic"? We make no such petty distinctions here.

In honor of the late Robin Gibb-I came to appreciate the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack after learning to appreciate the movie when I found out it was one of Gene Siskel's favorite movies. I no think that this album is amazing and the Bee Gees work on it is great. What is something it took you a long time to appreciate?

The novels of Evelyn Waugh. I first tried them as a teen, and found he supercilious twits that populated them to be insufferable. It was only a decade later that I realized how savagely Waugh was in fact mocking those people.

"The Godfather". Saw it in grade 10 and thought it just went on forever. It genuinely requires multiple viewings.
