"Directionless know-it-all"

I just finished Brainiac and loved it. I really appreciate that you state the answers with context around them at the end of the chapters (and in your Tuesday trivia) - so we don't have to search back to find what answers go with what questions or go around thinking Reykjavik supported Walter Mondale in 1984. Thank you!

The only thing that slightly took the pleasure out of reading it was that my mother got a hold of the book before my dad and me and underline only phrases such as "directionless know-it-all," "shallower kind of intelligence," "pointless but pleasurable," and "esoteric knowledge." I'm not sure what she's trying to say...

Great book, very entertaining, fun to see the insight to the Jeopardy world, and that you avenged Fred Worth's lack of credit for his part in Trivial Pursuit's success. Congrats on your success!
