I've just finished Chapter Seven, which contains a reference to my own ill-fated attempt to dethrone Ken. One of the things I was proud of about my game (when I wasn't busy kicking myself for confusing Kyoto and Edo), was getting Alex to crack up just a tiny bit with my Final Jeopardy answer of "Who are Thomas and Judas?" If you'd actually followed with "James and Judas" we might have flummoxed him entirely.
And, Ken, you gave that opportunity up for a mere, what, $12,000 in extra winnings?
Was it really worth it?
