Difficult Trivia Question

Postby Cannon » Wed Oct 22, 2008 12:25 pm

What do Matt Damon, Tom Hanks, Diane Lane, Georgie Henley, Dakota Fanning, Craig Reynolds, and Reynor Scheine have in common that pertains to one or more of their movie roles.

(I want to see if anyone can get this.......it was asked just this way...... and I think it's ridiculously difficult).

That question is ridiculous. Maybe as a Question 7, where you have a week to think about it, and then maybe you'll come up with a good guess. But if it was Live Trivia, you should feel justified in strangling the quizmaster.

Hint (in addition to bwouns' comment): You could substitute Harrison Ford for Matt Damon.

Harrison Ford? More like Humphrey Bogart.

Agreed, but I was sticking with living actors. (Originally I thought it was Greg Kinnear, which made a nice Stuck on You comparison, but then I remembered he played David.)

Now that I think about it more, this list isn't all that great. Diane Lane is a misleading choice; very few people if any will think of that role. Meg Ryan is a more recognizable representative than Dakota Fanning.

Still, I don't think you can compose a list of actors under these criteria that would make people say, "Oh! I should've gotten that" when they hear the answer.

Your comment about Meg Ryan is spot freaking on....the question is entirely too difficult for live trivia. If it had another qualifier, like.... in white...

....what popular comic strip's characters share first names with characters played by these actors...... or something similar then I think you give people a shot at it.....

I don't mean to just complain all the time about live trivia....I've just witnessed some really awful attempts, lately.

I'll be in a better mood tomorrow.... I promise. ;-)
