Ken:
I was interested in seeing you in person. Are you planning on making any trips to the Michigan area? I am from the Battle Creek / Kalamazoo area. I see the nearest spot you are coming is Illinois? Just curious...

There's a booksellers' expo in Dearborn, but if you're a civilian, you'd have to find a way to sneak in.

Ken, I'm the coach of the team that stalked you for a photo op at NAQT Nationals in Chicago this summer. I apologize, but I'll have to do it again, because I just HAVE to get this tome autographed!!!

I think it's Monday, but I'm just doing a ton of Canadian media there. I asked if we could squeeze in a signing, but they said no, since I have to get to Atlanta by early the next morning.

Fiddlesticks, would've been nice to meet you in Toronto. Can you name any of the specific media things you'll be doing here?

Sure, the schedule currently has: Canada AM, Global TV/ET Canada, CBC Newsworld Today, a Toronto Sun interview, and a bunch of radio (Book Bits, The Mott, James O'Hearn, Mike Stafford).

You bet your bippy you do.

Anyone who's been to a signing -- how long were you there? I'm getting a sitter and am trying to get some clue how long I'll be out.

I didn't time things on my watch, but I would estimate that Ken's talk began no later than 10 minutes after the scheduled time and lasted about 20 minutes. The Q&A portion was also about 20 minutes. The book signing and picture taking moved along fairly well and I would say my total time in the store was around 70 minutes.

This was with about 35 people attending. Someone more aggressive in lining up for the book autograph could leave even sooner. This could be accomplished by arriving early and getting a front row seat.

justKim, were you there last night? I enjoyed the signing and the chance to meet Ken, and there was a decent crowd at Borders.
