I'd say so. It's about the same as looking up the name of someone you haven't heard of.

Of course, I have no authority in the matter.

Yeah, I sort of intended the "asterism" puzzle to be part of the question. Still, whatever makes the quiz work for you isn't cheating, if you don't submit answers. Do What Thou Wilt shall be the whole of the law.

Fair enough. I'll just make a guess like I do on most of them. :)

Asterism: Famous last words spoken by a person who is going down with the ship.

Oh, wait, that would be Astorism.

Is there a hard-core etymologist in the house?

I made my decision on comparing "asterism" to "asterisk", and was wondering if they have the same root.

Well, if you consider that an asterisk (*) looks like a star... :-)

Hah. That's the exact same conclusion I came to -- and answered 'ampersand'. :)

Hi Ken. I am new here and am a bit confused where to find your quizzes and how to answer them. Also I would like to say that I tried to find your new game show on GSN but when I tuned in at the appointed time another show was on. Do you have a complete half hour or do you appear for a few moments between shows. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
