Last I heard, Dorothy Parker's ashes were in the NAACP's offices. Her "joke epitaph" (or one of them, forget if it was "excuse my dust" or "this one's on me") was part of a feature in Vanity Fair magazine which was also the source of WC Fields' "I would rather be living in Philadelphia" (sic; it has been improved in the retelling).
