Fantastic!

And not only is it back, but now correct answers are confirmed when entered. This made it a lot more fun for me, because I was able to figure out the Kennection from my correct guesses, which allowed me to return to my missed guesses and figure those out as well.

I love the format, for the reasons already given. Plus, if I don't know any of them and don't have time to ponder, but am curious, I can just zip right to the answers.

Yeah, I'm sorry this took so long, but the delay really was to get the new interface written and working right. So much better now!

Very exciting. Will submitting puzzles become an feature, as in the Parade days?

Great to see the quiz. Not so great to see the spambots with unsavory hyperlinks.

Yeah, I'm talkin' to you, mah-jong.

I just tried this week's Kennections and got the common theme of the answers after the first two clues.

Did I get the "Kennection"? No.

So as not to spoil the puzzle, let's say the Kennection was that all the answers were Beatles song titles. Entering "Beatles songs", "Beatle records", "song by the Beatles" or a dozen other variations won't get accepted as answers. Only the very strict wording "All are Beatles song titles" is accepted as a correct title.

Yeah, I know, you'll offer double my (zero) money back, but it really is a little disappointing to get the gist of the answer without matching the precise wording.

Is there any way for Mental Floss to allow alternate answers? In this format?

I guess they must have fixed this, because I just did this week's puzzle and had no such problem ... :D

Not on #5 that I could tell.

I'll put the details in spoilers, since I need to give the answer.
Spoiler: show
The answer as given is Places in "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys.

I tried just Kokomo, places in kokomo, opening words of kokomo (not quite true, but close), lyrics of kokomo, none of which were accepted.

I understand including the band name in the displayed answer, because just "Places in 'Kokomo'" could be confusing to people not familiar with this (Oh, dear God!) 30 year old song.

But were there acceptable alternates that didn't involve entering the name of the band?

Kennections #11 should be fun for long-time participants of these boards:

Ah, good times. What's our old friend K.U. been up to lately? Surely it's opened up some new trivia list possibilities.

Ha, I didn't even think about that when I wrote that quiz! It's been too long I guess.
