Wordplay puzzle

The place to talk. "On topic"? "Off topic"? We make no such petty distinctions here.

Wordplay puzzle

Step 1: Take the name of a Korean entertainer who goes by one name.

Step 2: Take the last name of a Korean-American entertainer who goes by a first and last name.

Step 3: Combine the two names from steps 1 and 2 (like combining GENE and RATION to get GENERATION).

You'll get the name of a famous 20th century movie, considered to be a classic of its genre, that has nothing to do with Koreans.

(However, one of the stars of the movie has a last name that could be mistaken for Korean if you only heard it said out loud and never saw it spelled.)
