The place to talk. "On topic"? "Off topic"? We make no such petty distinctions here.

Trebektron returns!

Postby econgator » Sun Dec 31, 2006 10:27 am

I was reading the paper (Florida Today) this afternoon and got to the TV Q&A section. Here was actually one of the questions:

Q: Someone said Alex Trebek of "Jeopardy!" died in a fiery crash a few years ago and was replaced with a robot or cyborg. Someone else told me that Vanna White of "Wheel of Fortune" was his daughter. Please let me know if these are true -- they are very interesting.

I guess it was a very, VERY slow week for letters to the column ... :)

That has to be one of us, right? I mean, someone wrote a prank letter. People aren't really that stupid.

Oh, who I am kidding, I know they can be.

Honestly, my first thought was just that. It's national column, so it could have been any of us. C'mon, fess up! :)

As seen on TV shows, there is stupid, and there is stupid. I think this falls into the first category. Maybe the second if it was a prank.
This is not a signature.
